Hibernateに組み込みのConnectionProviderでは、DBサーバの再起動などでプールしているコネクションが切れてしまうと復旧できないらしい。
そのためc3p0を使用する必要があるらしいので、
hibernate.cfg.xmlを以下を追記
そして、クラスパスが通った場所にc3p0を配置する必要がある。
hibernate3であればhibernate3.jarの中の尾rg.hibernate.connectionの下にあるのを使える。
